GF AgieCharmilles Congratulates Customers on Award from American Machinist

GF AgieCharmilles has issued congratulations to three of its customers that were named to American Machinist’s 10 Best Shops list for 2008. The shops awarded the honor were Allied Specialty Precision Inc. in Mishawaka, Indiana, Feintool USA Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio and Hamill Manufacturing Co. in Trafford, Pennsylvania.
“As a machine tool builder, witnessing the success of a customer is one of the most rewarding experiences there is,” says Glynn Fletcher, president of GF AgieCharmilles. “We take great pride in the fact that our customers are getting the maximum benefit out of our products and using them to thrive in a tough market.”
Specializing in production of a variety of aerospace components, Allied Specialty Precision has experienced rapid growth in recent years. The company excels at manufacturing tough parts, regularly maintaining tolerances of 0.0002”.
While most companies serving the automotive industry experienced troubles in 2008, Feintool USA Corporation experienced continue growth. The company produces a variety of stamped parts for automotive, using high-tolerance dies that it builds in-house.
Hamill Manufacturing serves a variety of industries, ranging from defense to power generation to aerospace to semi-conductor. The shop specializes in producing complex parts from hard-to-machine materials, such as Inconel and titanium.
