Metalcam to power the new Cut 20P & Cut 30P

Continuing the long relationship between both companies, GF AgieCharmilles and Metalcam have signed an agreement for the integration of the new AC Cam Easy in the CNC of the Cut 20P and Cut 30P wire EDM machines.
Built following the requirements and specific needs of GF AgieCharmilles for these new machines, Metalcam has developed a new version of its flagship product Fikus Visualcam for WireEDM that, with the name AC Cam Easy, will handle the technology databases for the Cut 20P and Cut 30P. AC Cam Easy will make it possible to execute a complete job without any external application. The software includes CAD capabilities, 2X cutting with conic features, a collar wizard for die makers, simulation, and a G-code editor. As an option, it also includes no-core-cut processes, gear design, 3D data translators and text capabilities. The dedicated postprocessor is certified by GF AgieCharmilles. AC Cam Easy is fully compatible with Fikus Visualcam, Fikus Fastwire and AC Geo files.
